This position processes accounts payable, records homeowner payments and ledger charges, reconciles assigned accounts, assists with new-client onboarding, maintains accounting records, and responds to requests from HOA managers. When workload permits, the position may also assist the customer service department with homeowner inquiries.

Position Summary:

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Respond to accounting-related requests from HOA managers and provide timely follow-up.
  • Record homeowner deposits and ensure payments are posted to the appropriate homeowner accounts.
  • Process utility payments through approved ACH procedures and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile PEX accounts and research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the accounting setup and onboarding of new HOA clients.
  • Calculate and record homeowner dues, late fees, and other approved ledger charges.
  • File and maintain complete, accurate, and organized accounting records.
  • Assist the customer service department with homeowner inquiries when workload and priorities permit.
  • Complete special projects and provide accounting or administrative support as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ accounting experience (required)
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable, account reconciliations, deposits, ledger activity, and record maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Schedule:

  • 20 – 25 hours per week flexible scheduling
